Released in 1967, Amazing Spiderman issue 50 tells the story of Peter Parker who has decided to quit being Spiderman. I think it’s about time yours truly did the same too.
There came a point in life where one has to decide what he really wants. For me, all I want right now is a simple life. By that, it means waking up every morning, go to work, knock off from work, go home, eat, take a shower, read a book then go to bed. Repeat.
I have decided to quit blogging. This shall be my last post before I decommission the blog in a few days time. Doesn’t really matter since I aren’t blogging much these days anyway. My domain will be put up for sale if anyone wants it.
I also won’t be reading blogs anymore, like Danny’s. I reckon by doing so will save me lots of time to do other more meaningful stuff, like taking a stroll in the park, feeding the pigeons, knitting, wash my socks etc.
Additionally, I shall quit being an otaku. All anime and including 2D girlie pics, hentai and tentacle will be deleted. All figures collection and whatever under my bed / behind the closet will be donated to the Salvation Army.
Actually, I am unworthy to be called an otaku. I don’t own that many anime merchandises, (I don’t even have a dakimakura!), I can never analyse an anime episode so in-depth to give thought provoking episodic reviews and I can’t sing anime songs. What a shame.
I have also sold off my Stormtrooper and Sandtrooper armour. No more trooping, no more droid hunting. Seriously man, now that I think about it, which grownup in his right mind dresses up in plastic armour anyway? That’s so geeky.
All I want is a normal life. Good bye.
