About the 501st Legion
Founded in 1997 by Albin Johnson in the US, the 501st Legion is a worldwide Star Wars non-profit costuming organization comprised of and operated by Star Wars fans. While it is not sponsored by Lucasfilm Ltd., it is Lucasfilm’s preferred Imperial costuming group. With over 4000 members worldwide, the Legion’s mission is to celebrate the Star Wars movies through the wearing of costumes and to contribute to the society through charity and volunteer work.
About the Singapore Garrison
Started out as an Outpost in November 2002. Currently has over 90 members and is the largest Garrison in Asia.

Mascot
His blog mascot is an original character (sort of) drawn by Kintaro. Full story of her origin here and a fictional short story here. The sketch was used at his old blog.

His girl is also immortalised in embroidery patches. ^^;
A good friend of his even did a cosplay on her.
