erm.. wait. why is imoutou going in too?
niinii say in the army, there are white horses. so I is want to play with them.
That was only a figureeee of speech >w<!!!!
Wow, nice packing. Anyway, good luck.
Make sure you shine your boots well.:D
Is this one the last one or there are more annual army training to come for you?
Annual training. usually 1 to 2 weeks.
Good luck with your training mate!
P.S. Just curious but how many personal belongings are you allowed to bring to boot camp?
not boot camp.
I hereby apologise for the incorrect term used in my last comment.
Old SBO. A true lao jiao
There’s a even older type that some true lan jiaos are still using. it’s just 2 ammo pouches at the front, 2 water bottle pouches are the back and that’s all. @@
As my CSM in Alpha during SISPEC said, it’s the legendary squid bra SBO.
Indeed. I only saw it once or twice myself, in person. @@
And I am surprised u still say SISPEC when it have changed to SOS or something. Still prefer SISPEC though. School of Infantry Specialists. Cos all sergeants regardless of vocations, must have basic infantry knowledge, like section movement, area defense, etc.
How many years do you need to be in the army’s service? In Brunei, there is no such thing as joining an army temporary. It’s either for 20 years then retire from army and find another salaryman’s job or don’t join at all. In Malaysia, the compulsary attendance army rules apply. But i don’t know for how many years though.

2 years compulsory full time. With minimal allowance (not salary), depending on what rank u get. After which, serve another 10 years of part time whereby u get called back for 1 to 3 weeks of training every year.
Wow! 2 years. That’s alot of army service. So when you’re working real-time, the army can pull you out of your working company and join part-time training. That’s ok i guess considering it’s only 1~3 weeks per year.
Yes. It is within the regulations set by the Ministry of Manpower for employers to release their employees to go military training. It is like taking unpaid leave. The company will not pay you for the week or 2 u are away. Instead the Army will reimburse you whatever amount you earn for the period u are back.
