Got this cute looking wishing board call Ema (絵馬) from JList. Wishing boards are usually bought at a temple in Japan where one will write down their wish and hang it at a designated hanging place.

This gorgeous Mio fanart is simply too awesome beyond words. Is drawn by a special friend as birthday gift to me. Extremely detailed hair and lovely realistic eyes. Never received any birthday present before in my entire life so this is something very dear. Love it very very much! This is the type of thing that money can’t buy and is fondest to the heart. ^^;
Thank you, Jo.

Chingay is annual street and floats parade which takes place during the Chinese New Year period in Singapore. Participants includes performers from all over Asia and also from a galaxy far far away.
These lovely belly dancers were asking why are they kissing such a dirty helmet. *chuckles* ^^;
More Chingay coverage here.
Thank you J-List.
What you see here is a 中山裝 Zhongshan suit, named after 孫中山 (Sun Zhongshan) Sun Yat-sen. In the west, it is known as a Mao suit, named after 毛泽东 (Mao Zedong). In Japan, it is known as the gakuran (学ラン) or the tsume-eri (詰め襟), the uniforms for many middle and high school boys.
If anyone is wondering how come the second button of my school uniform is missing, that’s because the second button of the top of a guy’s uniform is often given away to the girl he has feelings for, and is considered a way of confession as the second button is the one closest to the heart.
How about you guys? Who have you given the second button of your school uniform to?
