First off, special thanks to OMY for inviting me to the Gala Premiere Preview of the new Star Trek movie. May you all live long and prosper. I will love to write a review but I hate to spoil it for those who have yet to see it. The official release date is next week.
Aren’t they supposed to be good friends?
Personally I feel that I would enjoy the movie better if I have seen the original series. Anyway one of the things in the movie that left an impression is seeing Leonard Nimoy reprising his role as the old Spock.
The (supposedly handsome) Prince of Troy is hardly recognisable.
I couldn’t even recognise Eric Bana as Nero the villain, Winona Ryder as Spock’s mother and Karl Urban as Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy. A far cry from his The Lord of the Rings and The Bourne Supremacy days.
Everyone look so young!
Star Trek will no doubt face fierce competition next week since a movie staring a certain popular mutant with adamantium claws opens this week.
Oh btw I want Spock as my English teacher. Truly amazed by his vast library of vocabulary.

I hear the plot is somewhat lacking, but I’ll catch this movie regardless. Why not…

Didn’t watch the series, but Spock will always come into my mind when I saw Star Trek.
Spock’s captain? Wasn’t expecting that. Just saw the CM on the tube, will definitely try to catch it. Mmm, I heard Kirk was a playboy? Where’s the harem, hehe:3

Probably this will be the only movie I wont watch that everybody else is watching..
