Gundam 00 S2 Episode 17 – Battlefield Earth

Battlefield Earth is a sci-fi movie released in 2000 staring John Travolta. It was a major box office flop and widely considered by audiences and critics alike as the worst film ever made. It also won 7 razzies including Worst Actor, Worst Movie, and Worst Director. Fortunately all this has nothing to do with last week’s episode of Gundam 00 other than the fact that the title kinda suits the idea of last week’s story.

Everything was going smooth until the end… makes me go WTF all over! I can say it’s kinda expected (the way things are going and from the OP2), but still…

someone should teach those innovators the proper way to use a couch. ^^;
lol about the non-purple smoke in space, noticed that to, but forgot to mention it. ^^;;;
sad thing about Sergie’s death is that he purposely pushed away from Andrei’s mobile suit before exploding.
btw I seem to remember liking the movie battlefield earth. oh well, must have been young and impressionable back then. ^^;

Never did care too much for Sergei… but his death made me adore him, just like Meer Campbell’s death in Seed Destiny. Only like’em upon seeing their death scene. Which sounds rather cruel, but I can’t really help it^^;;

Andrei, on the other hand, I’m never gonna like, not after what he just did. Irritating little kid with an weaselly voice. Here’s an alternate ending I cooked up in revenge…
Sergei reaches out to hug Andrei- trying to get one last hug from his estranged son as an apology and just cause he misses him, his mind too frazzled from his injuries, not realizing that they’ll both go kaboom… which is exactly what happens. Bye bye, momma’s boy^_^
