As a challenge to myself and to keep my grasp of Chinese in shape, I have translated 3 of my favourite songs from Chen Qi Zhen’s new album into English. It’s not professional quality but I tried my best. I hope those who do not speak the language will understand and able to enjoy Chen Qi Zhen’s songs as well as much as I did.
This is my first time doing translation. I have avoided translating word by word to make the sentence sounds more natural but the general idea is still there. If anyone thinks there are areas those need improvements please drop a comment and let me know.
我翻译了三首陈绮贞《太阳》专辑里我较喜欢的歌。分别是《太阳》，《鱼》和《烟火》。目的除了挑战自己的翻译能力，也希望能让那些不懂中文的人了解陈绮贞的歌曲。这是小弟我第一次作中英翻译所以可能有一些地方翻译的不好，如果有需要改进的地方，请在这里留言告诉我。谢谢。
