Readers familiar with the Taiwan entertainment scene will recognise 川島茉樹代 (Kawashima Makiyo) or better known as Makiyo.
Born in 1984, she is a daughter to a Japanese otosan and Taiwanese okasan. Having moved to Taiwan with her mother since 10 years old, Makiyo is fluent in Mandarin and has been active in the Taiwan entertainment circle at the tender age of 17. She has hosted numerous variety shows, acted in drama series and released a number of albums and singles in Mandarin and Japanese.
Although she might not be as kawaii as most idols in Japan, she certainly share one common characteristic, big eyes! Enjoy the rest of the photos. ^^
