TK-8316 (extreme right) survived his maiden mission. It was an eventful and fun experience. He even managed to find some pretty droids.
Halloween last Friday marks my first trooping. Danny once mentioned how he couldn’t feel a thing when cute girls hug him for photographs. Well I understand how he feels now. ^^;
It was a small outing, 6 of the local 501st Legion attended, 5 were in Star Wars Imperial attire, 1 was dressed as Kroenen from Hellboy. Squatting in the centre of the first row is AK and his friends on the left and right. They accompanied us the whole night. Although they are not in costume, their roles are important nevertheless.
They served as what we call minders, basically guiding us around as it can be difficult to see what’s in front of us with our helmets on, keeping over passionate people at bay from knocking our helmets and stealing our parts to keep as souvenirs, helping passer-bys take pictures etc. Kudos to them, I couldn’t have done it without their help. ^^;

Wonderful, and I was right, you did go trooping on Halloween. They were telling me how wrong I was and that there was an event for the 501st on Saturday lol. At least, it was a good experience for you right?

that picture looks even. one vader and tons of troopers. it would have looked odd if there were 5 vaders and only 1 trooper. ^^.
